Features
- Self-contained directional gyro and amplifier assembly that provides gyro-stabilized heading reference for compass system
- Gyro, amplifier, and synchronizer assembly all contained in cylindrical housing
- Electrically driven gyro
- Versions available with and w/o flux valve control transformer incorporated to route output from flux valve (see table below)
- Versions available with additional heading transmmitter to provide additional 3-wire (ARINC) heading info (see table below)
- Versions available with clutched potentiometer to provide automatic pilot heading hold function (see table below)
- Similar to C-14 gyro but has all subassemblies contained in cylindrical housing instead
- Meets qualifications of TSO-C6c
